It is Intimated that Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Ministry of Jal Shakti is conducting Staff Car Drivers Posts vacancy to fill up total 72 vacancies in as per rules. The Aspirants who want to apply for the CGWB Staff Car Driver Jobs can apply through the online official website. To apply online log into the CGWB official website  http://cgwb.gov.in/. The Candidates who have eligibility criteria can apply online for the Central Ground Water Board  Drivers Application from December 25, 2021 To February 7, 2022.

  • North Western Region – 24 (UR-14, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2)
  • Mid Eastern Region – 24 (UR-13, EWS-1, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2)
  • South Western Region – 24 (UR-15, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-1)
  • Total – 72 posts
Pay Scale
  • pay scale of Rs. 19900/- to 63200/- pay scale which is Level 2 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

CGWB Driver Age Limit

  • Minimum age limit – 18 years
  • Maximum age limit – 27 years
Education qualification
  • Matric Pass (10th) and should possess a valid driving license for heavy vehicles.
  • The aspirants should have at least three years of experience in driving heavy vehicles (after possessing a heavy driving license).
  • The candidates should also have the knowledge of motor vehicle mechanisms and the ability to read and write Hindi or English language and numbers.

About Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Ministry of Jal Shakti –    Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), a subordinate office of the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, is the National Apex Agency entrusted with the responsibilities of providing scientific inputs for management, exploration, monitoring, assessment, augmentation and regulation of ground water resources of the country. Central Ground Water Board was established in 1970 by renaming the Exploratory Tube wells Organization under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. It was merged with the Ground Water Wing of the Geological Survey of India during 1972.
