Hi Friends, Online Recruitment Applications (ORAs) (by using official website http://punjabpolice.gov.in/ are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of IT, Finance, Legal & Forensics in the Department of police, Punjab State through police recruitment board, which shall be available on the Commission‟s website from July 2021. According to the demand letter received from the department, the total possible number of posts is 634. Detailed information about the posts and age related information is available on the official website of the board.The number of posts can be decreased or increased as required. Age Limit
 

  • Minimum Age Limit – 18 years
  • Maximum Age limit  – 27 years
  • Age limit as on – 01.01.2021
  • SC/ ST/ BC candidates get a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

Education qualification
  • The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science/Law degree/Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Electronics and Communication pass from recognized State Education Board or equivalent.
  • Candidates of B.Sc./ B.Tech./ B.E. in IT or CSE or CE or Data Science, Computer Networking, or BCA can apply. In fact, candidates of PG Diploma in Computer Applications can also apply.
  • In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation

Selection Process
  • Written Exam
  • Physical test
  • Written Test will be conducted before the Physical Screening Test (PST).

When will be Admit card Issue Date

  • Merit will be drawn up purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Computer Based Written Examination.
