RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the notification for the 2023 RBI Assistant Recruitment. The RBI is recruiting for 450 vacancies. The application form is available from September 13 to October 4, 2023. The selection process includes:
- Prelims
- Mains
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The tentative dates for the preliminary test are October 21 and 23, 2023. The tentative date for the online main test is December 2, 2023.
RBI Assistant Salary
The starting basic pay for an RBI Assistant is ₹20,700 per month. The gross salary is approximately ₹45,050 per month. The net in-hand salary is around ₹40,000.
The salary includes:
- Basic pay
- Additional special pay
- Grade allowance
- Dearness allowance (DA)
- Transport allowance (TA)
- House rent allowance (HRA)
The salary deductions include:
- Provident fund (PF)
- Employee state insurance (ESI)
- Income tax (IT)
The basic pay increases with experience. RBI Assistants also receive certain allowances and benefits. For example, if they live in the bank’s accommodation, they receive an additional 15% of their pay as a house rent allowance.
